D.A. Stern has been investigating the occult and related phenomena for over thirty years.
He has written several previous works including Witchcraft: Primal Persecution, and European Folklore in America. In the spring of 1999, he was approached by investigator C.D. Buchanan to help compile and annotate Buchanan’s notes on the still unsolved disappearance of three young student for a book project that eventually became the New York Times bestseller, The Blair Witch Project Dossier.
Stern has also collaborated on the New York Times bestselling biography Crosley with Rusty McClure.
